What Does the Sports Catted Downpipe Do?
The downpipe carries hot exhaust gases away from the engine and into the remainder of the exhaust system.
Factory downpipes must balance emissions control, refinement and production requirements, which can restrict exhaust flow. The 9M sports catted design uses a more performance-focused exhaust path while retaining catalytic converter functionality.
This helps improve exhaust flow while providing a more engaging exhaust note than the standard system.

The 9M Sports Catted Downpipe is designed for owners who want improved exhaust sound, reduced weight and freer exhaust flow without moving to a fully decatted setup.
