Faulty actuator disrupts precise valve timing, leading to uneven idling or misfires Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): Codes like P0010, P0011, P0012, P0013, P0014 often point to camshaft actuator or timing issues. They indicate conditions such as stuck timing advance/retard, or electrical faults in the actuator circuit Failure Causes: Oil contamination or sludge can clog the actuator, impairing function. Electrical problems such as wiring degradation or poor connector contact can impede correct activation
