What This Product Does
These manifolds adapt the Porsche GT3 intake manifold concept for air-cooled 911 engine architecture. Their interfaces accommodate the shorter engine spacing, while computational fluid dynamics modelling was used during development to refine the internal airflow geometry.
Functions
- Provides GT3-style intake manifolds for compatible air-cooled engine conversions
- Interfaces with Adapt Motorsport DBW intake adapters and throttle kits
- Provides vacuum connections for the brake booster and idle-air bypass
- Supports additional vacuum-source requirements within a custom installation
- Uses discreet tabs to secure wiring and vacuum-control components
Technical Details
- Supplied as a pair of intake manifolds
- Cast-aluminium construction
- Designed for the shorter intake spacing of air-cooled Porsche 911 engines
- Factory-style external lugs are omitted for a cleaner installation
- Additional integrated vacuum ports
- Matching adapter sleeves are optional components for connection to the intake adapters, throttle body and resonance flap
FAQs
- Is this a complete intake system? This product consists of a pair of intake manifolds. Matching adapter sleeves and other intake-system components are separate elements.
- What material are the manifolds made from? They are manufactured from cast aluminium for a factory-style appearance.
- Are vacuum connections included? Yes. The manifolds incorporate ports for brake-booster vacuum, idle-air bypass and other vacuum-source requirements.
- Can they be used with electronic throttles? They are designed to integrate with Adapt Motorsport DBW intake adapters and throttle kits.
