Adapt Motorsport electronic individual throttle body (eITB) kit for the Porsche 964 and 993. Six individual throttles are operated as two independently controlled cylinder banks by a modern drive-by-wire engine-management system.

What This Product Does
The eITB assembly replaces conventional pedal cables and cross-bank throttle linkages with direct electronic actuation. A compatible aftermarket ECU can regulate each bank, control idle through the throttle motors and tailor throttle opening to pedal position and operating conditions.

- Vacuum connections for balancing instruments, brake servos and other vacuum-operated equipment
Installation and ECU Requirements
Installation, synchronisation and calibration should be handled by a specialist experienced with individual throttles and dual-motor DBW systems. The ECU must control two independent throttle motors and provide six analogue sensor inputs plus two complete four-pin half-bridge motor-driver outputs. Appropriate DBW fail-safe operation and engine limp modes are required. Adapt Motorsport identifies the MoTeC M150, Emtron KV8 and ECUmaster Pro 8 as suitable examples, although compatibility must be checked for each installation. Dual wideband oxygen sensors are recommended for closed-loop calibration of both cylinder banks, particularly at idle.
