Upgrade the gear shift on your Boxster or Cayman.
The factory assembly leaves more to be desired. On top of the long throw of the shift, components that are crucial in the feel and service life of the shifter housing are made of flimsy, brittle plastic which degrades and cracks over time. This leaves you with vague and inconsistent gear shifts, something you don't want in a sports car on or off the track.
- 3 levels of height/throw adjustment
- 20% throw reduction on shortest lever adjustment (18% & 14% in other positions)
- Fits all 981 / 718 models with manual transmission
- Installs in factory location and is compatible with center console, shifter cables, and shift boot
- Complete replacement for factory housing (OEM# 99142401001)
- Machined from 6061 billet aluminum
- Delrin bushings for durability and longevity
- Accepts OEM shift knob
