Information
Heater / aircon blower motor. Inside front bluk head.
It drives airflow through the HVAC system’s heater matrix, evaporator and cabin vent outlets, ensuring effective heating and cooling performance.
Fits:
Porsche 964 1989 - 1994
Porsche 993 1994 - 1998
Diagram ref no 5.
• Engineered to match original specifications and fit perfectly, it provides quiet, powerful airflow so your heating and A/C system works like new again.
• Position on Vehicle: Mounted inside the front bulkhead/heater box on the left-side (driver’s side) of the vehicle, as part of the HVAC blower assembly.
• Applications: Ideal replacement when the original blower motor shows signs of failing (noise, reduced airflow, erratic operation) or when restoring the HVAC system of a 964 or 993 model to full performance.
The blower motor is a critical component of your vehicle’s HVAC system - it supplies the airflow needed for heating, cooling and ventilation of the cabin. When the motor wears out or fails, you may experience reduced airflow, noise, inconsistent cabin temperature, or even system shut-down. Replacing it with a high-quality OE-Match unit restores proper air distribution, helps preserve the lifespan of other HVAC components and ensures passenger comfort and safety.
When and why to replace:
• Noticeably reduced airflow or weak ventilation in heating/AC mode.
• Unusual noises (grinding, squealing, or rattling) coming from the blower motor or vents.
• Motor does not run or runs intermittently, especially when HVAC is switched on.
• Replacement of related HVAC components (evaporator, heater matrix or ducting) where the blower motor is readily accessible.
• Older vehicle (high mileage) where the original blower motor has been in service for many years and may be nearing the end of its life.

Information
This a replica of the Porsche Germany RS lightweight factory heat duct that was used on all 3.6 liter special RS lightweight rare cars.
The Porsche part is ugly roto-formed cheap plastic with parting lines whereas accurate replica is carbon fiber.
Saves 8 to 9lbs about 4Kg from the rear of all 964's and 993's. Will not work on C2 Turbos/965 cars.
Replaces blower motor assembly and ductwork and still allows plenty of heat just like the factory RS part.
Ultra cool clear coated real carbon fiber tube that really cleans up engine bay and makes working on engine easy.
