What Does the Rear Brake Pad Wear Sensor Do?
The rear brake pad wear sensor, also known as a brake pad warning wire, is fitted to the brake pad and monitors the thickness of the friction material throughout its service life.

- Activating the dashboard brake wear warning light when replacement is required.
- Helping prevent excessive brake pad wear.

Why Do Brake Pad Wear Sensors Fail?
Brake wear sensors are exposed to constant heat, moisture,
