This front coil spring supports the vehicle’s weight and helps control body movement by storing and releasing energy as the suspension travels. It works in concert with shock absorbers and other suspension components to deliver stable handling, responsive steering, and a balanced ride quality characteristic of Porsche vehicles.
Installed between the lower control arm and the front strut or shock assembly, the coil spring compresses and extends as the wheel moves over road surfaces. It absorbs vertical motion, helps maintain tire contact with the road, and contributes to overall vehicle stability, comfort, and performance.
Replace this part if you experience any of the following:
• Uneven or sagging front ride height
• Excessive body roll or unstable handling
• Cracks, corrosion, or visible spring fatigue
• Suspension overhaul, shock absorber replacement, or alignment work
• After significant mileage or heavy track/road use

This coil spring supports the front portion of the vehicle’s weight and works with the shock absorber and suspension components to control vertical wheel movement. It helps maintain correct ride height, contributes to stable handling, and provides consistent dynamic response over a variety of road conditions.
Mounted between the lower control arm and the shock/strut assembly, the spring compresses and rebounds with suspension travel, absorbing shocks from road surfaces while keeping the tire in contact with the road. Proper spring function is essential for predictable handling, ride comfort, and front-end stability.
Aging or worn coil springs can sag, lose tension, or develop uneven characteristics, leading to lowered ride height, poor handling, uneven tire wear, and compromised steering feel. Replacing old springs with new replacement components ensures proper suspension geometry and restores more stable vehicle dynamics - especially important after many miles or when other suspension components are refreshed.

This spring set supports the full front axle load and manages suspension movement under braking, acceleration, and cornering. Replacing both springs together maintains symmetrical ride height and handling, preventing imbalance caused by mixing old and new components.
Mounted between the lower control arms and front strut assemblies, the coil springs compress and rebound with suspension travel. Working together as a matched pair, they absorb road impacts, stabilize the vehicle body, and help maintain consistent tire contact with the road surface.
