High-quality GKN rear drive shaft for the Porsche 911 Type 992 Sport Classic, providing a premium replacement for Porsche OE reference 992501203G.
The GKN GKND13207 complete driveshaft assembly is designed for installation on the rear axle and is suitable for either the left-hand or right-hand side of the vehicle.
Please note: This product is sold individually. If replacing both rear drive shafts, order a quantity of two.
The driveshaft is a critical part of the Porsche drivetrain, transferring torque from the transmission and differential to the driven rear wheels while accommodating suspension movement and changes in driveshaft angle.
On a high-performance rear-wheel-drive model such as the 911 Sport Classic, the driveshaft and its constant-velocity joints must reliably transmit substantial torque while maintaining smooth, refined operation.

Why Replace a Worn Drive Shaft?
The driveshaft and CV joints operate under considerable load and are subjected to constant movement as the vehicle accelerates, brakes and travels over changing road surfaces.
Over time, wear or damage can occur to the CV joints, shaft, boots or associated components.
Possible symptoms of a worn or damaged rear driveshaft include:
• Clicking or knocking noises
• Vibration during acceleration
• Shuddering through the vehicle
• Excessive driveline play
• Noise when turning
• Damaged or leaking CV boots
• Grease loss around the CV joint
• Mechanical noise under acceleration or regenerative load.
Replacing a worn assembly with a complete quality GKN driveshaft helps restore smooth and reliable torque transmission.
