Driveshaft Bolt & Retainer Plate set
This is an OE Match replacement hardware set designed to provide the correct fasteners and retainer plates needed when servicing driveshaft and axle assemblies on classic Porsche models.
Fits:
Porsche 911 G 3.2 Carrera with 915 gearbox 1986 - 89
Porsche 964 C2 / RS / Turbo 3.6L 1989 - 1993
Porsche 928 1983-86 Chassis no from F 92DFS8 41008>> and F92FS8 40290>> M593
Porsche 928 1987-95
Diagram ref no 4 and 5
The set includes:
• 12× 90006712301/1 - OE Match high-strength M10×50 driveshaft bolts (screws) used to secure driveshaft/axle flange components;
• 6× 91133219100/1 - OE Match cv axle joint locking plates / retainer plates that sit under or behind these bolts to lock them in position and help maintain secure torque engagement.
This OE Match set is ideal for rebuilds, overhauls, or preventive maintenance where these critical hardware pieces are worn, corroded, or missing.
These components are essential drivetrain fasteners and locking hardware designed to replicate the original Porsche factory parts in material specification, thread forms, and interface dimensions. The bolts (OE ref no 90006712301) are threaded fasteners used in multiple driveline locations (notably on 911, 964, and 928 drive shafts and related flange connections), while the plates (OE ref no 91133219100) act as locking or retainer plates that sit against a mating surface to secure the bolt heads and prevent loosening under vibration and rotational loads.
Installed in the driveshaft/axle flange area, this hardware set ensures that:
• Fasteners are tightened and retained under high torque loads
• Drive joints remain secure under acceleration and braking
• Retainer plates prevent rotational loosening of bolt heads
• Vibration and heat cycling do not compromise joint clamping force
Each bolt threads into its designated flange connection and is held fast by the matching lock plate beneath or around the joint - providing peace of mind and factory-style integrity.
Fasteners and locking plates exposed to weather, heat cycling, and drivetrain stresses can corrode, stretch, or lose torque retention over time. Reusing old hardware - especially driveshaft bolts - can lead to joint movement, vibration, or progressive loosening under load. Installing fresh, OE Match hardware restores proper clamping force and reduces the risk of joint separation or premature wear in critical driveline systems.
When to replace:
• During driveshaft, CV joint, or axle service
• Replacing worn or damaged fasteners or retainer plates
• When original bolts show corrosion, stretch, or thread wear
• Preventative maintenance on high-mile vehicles
• When uncertainty exists about the condition of existing hardware

The Genuine Porsche 9GT501201A / 9GT501201G rear driveshaft is an OE rear axle drivetrain component for selected Porsche 992 GT3 models. It transfers drive from the transmission / differential to the rear wheel hub, supporting smooth power delivery, suspension movement and reliable rear axle performance. Ideal for replacing a worn, noisy, damaged or failed rear driveshaft with Genuine Porsche quality.
Why Replace This Part?
The rear driveshaft is exposed to high torque loads, suspension movement, heat, road debris, vibration and weather conditions. Over time, the CV joints, boots or shaft assembly can wear or become damaged. A split CV boot can allow grease loss and contamination, which may quickly lead to CV joint wear or failure.
Replacing the complete assembly with a Genuine Porsche OE rear driveshaft helps restore correct rear axle drive operation and maintains the performance standards required for the Porsche 992 GT3 drivetrain.
