The drive shaft transfers engine torque from the transmission or differential to the wheel hub, enabling the vehicle to move. Function:
• Transfers rotational force from the drivetrain to the wheel

Worn CV joints or damaged boots can cause clicking noises, vibration under load, grease leakage, and uneven power delivery. Replacing a failing axle restores smooth drivetrain operation and helps prevent additional wear to wheel bearings, differentials, and suspension components.
When to replace:
• Clicking or knocking noises during acceleration or turning
• Vibration or shudder under load
• Torn or leaking CV boots
