Drop links, Rear.
OE Match rear stabiliser bar (anti-roll bar) link set for the Porsche 911 (964) rear suspension. The set includes both left and right rear drop links - OE ref no 96433307371 and 96433307402 - engineered to match the original Porsche components in fit, strength, and function.
SET OF 2 links - for left and right side.
Fits:
Porsche 964 1990 - 1994 all models
Diagram ref no 18.
This product is a pair of OE Match rear drop links - also referred to as rear stabiliser bar links - designed to connect the rear anti-roll bar to the rear suspension arms on the Porsche 911 964.
The kit includes:
• 1x 96433307371 - OE Match rear drop link (one side)
• 1x 96433307402 - OE Match rear drop link (opposite side).
OE Match parts are manufactured to reflect the original dimensions, pivot geometry, and bushing/ball joint specifications so the links install without modification and deliver dependable performance over time.
Rear drop links are pivotal in transmitting forces between the rear anti-roll bar and suspension arms. During cornering, the anti-roll bar resists body roll by sharing load across both sides of the rear suspension. The drop links serve as the connection points that deliver those forces effectively - helping keep the vehicle balanced, stable, and predictable. By facilitating this transfer, the drop links contribute to:
• Reduced body roll on cornering
• Sharper handling and chassis response
• Improved rear wheel contact and grip
• Better stability at speed and under load.
Function:
• Connects stabiliser bar to suspension arms: Ensures anti-roll bar forces are applied correctly
• Reduces body motion: Limiting excessive rear end roll for improved balance
• Improves grip: Promotes consistent tyre contact and traction
• Enhances confidence: More predictable handling in everyday and spirited driving
Rear drop links bear constant loads and movement as the suspension articulates. Over time, the ball joints and bushings in the links can wear or loosen, leading to:
• Clunking or knocking noises from the rear during suspension movement
• Increased body roll and reduced stability in corners
• Loose or vague handling characteristics
• Uneven tyre wear from inconsistent suspension geometry
Replacing both rear drop links at the same time - rather than just one - restores balanced roll control and preserves consistent handling. OE Match parts ensure both sides match the original design for controlled, reliable performance.
When to replace. Install this rear drop link set when:
• You hear noise from the rear suspension under motion
• Handling feels loose, unsettled, or floaty
• You experience excessive body roll in corners
• The links show visible wear or play during inspection
• You’re performing other rear suspension service or upgrades

4 x Stabilizer bar bush clamp bolts — 90037805501
2 x Stabilizer bar mounting clamps — 99633377701
The rear stabilizer bar helps reduce body roll during cornering by linking suspension movement across the rear axle. The drop links connect the stabilizer bar to the suspension, while the bushes and clamps secure the bar to the chassis. Replacing these components together helps restore correct rear anti-roll bar operation and rear axle stability.
Functions
• Replaces rear stabilizer bar drop links
• Replaces rear stabilizer bar mounting bushes
• Includes stabilizer bar clamps and fixing bolts
• Helps secure the rear anti-roll bar correctly
• Supports stable rear suspension and handling response
• Helps reduce rear suspension knocking, looseness, and vibration
• OE Match repair kit for Porsche 996 Turbo rear stabilizer bar service.
Why Replace This Kit?
Rear stabilizer bar components are exposed to road dirt, moisture, suspension load, vibration, heat, and age. Drop link joints can wear or develop play, bushes can crack or compress, clamps can corrode, and bolts can seize or become damaged during removal. Worn components may cause rear suspension knocking, increased body roll, vague handling, uneven response, or failed inspection. Replacing the drop links, bushes, clamps, and bolts together helps restore a secure and balanced rear anti-roll bar assembly.
When to Replace This Kit
• Rear suspension knocking or clunking is present
• Rear drop links are worn, loose, noisy, or damaged
• Stabilizer bar bushes are cracked, split, compressed, or missing
• Clamps or bolts are corroded, seized, or damaged
• Rear anti-roll bar service or suspension refresh is being carried out
• Handling feels vague or body roll has increased
• The vehicle is undergoing Porsche 996 Turbo suspension restoration.
