The electric sunroof switch provides the driver's or occupant's manual electrical control of the sunroof mechanism. When operated, the switch sends the appropriate electrical command through the sunroof circuit, allowing the motor to move the roof panel in the required direction.
Although relatively simple, the switch is used repeatedly throughout the vehicle's life. Internal electrical contacts can wear, become contaminated or develop increased resistance, while the external rocker or button mechanism can become loose, damaged or intermittent.
A faulty switch may cause the sunroof to operate inconsistently, only work in one direction or stop responding altogether. Replacing a confirmed defective switch with this OE Match Black Sunroof Switch helps restore dependable electrical control while maintaining an appropriate factory-style interior appearance.

- A correctly functioning switch also reduces the need to repeatedly press or manipulate the control to make the sunroof operate.
