Information
Engine crankcase vent breather valve kit.
This Engine Crankcase Vent Breather Valve Kit is a full replacement set designed to service the crankcase ventilation system on the Porsche 970.2 Panamera S 3.0L (model years 2014–2016). It includes OE Match vent valves and breather hoses, along with genuine Porsche O-rings - providing a complete, direct-fit solution for maintaining proper crankcase pressure control.
Fits:
Porsche 970.2 Panamera S 3.0L 2014 - 2016
* engine code: CWDA,CWD, CWFA,CWF
Diagram ref no 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
The crankcase ventilation system regulates the internal pressure and gases generated during engine operation. This kit supplies all essential components required to replace worn or failing crankcase vent valves, hoses, and associated seals. The included parts are engineered to mirror factory fitment and performance, restoring proper crankcase breather function and helping prevent oil leaks, performance issues, and check-engine codes.
Kit Components:
1x Crankcase oil breather non-return valve – 94610723077 (OE Match)
1x Crankcase oil breather non-return valve – 94610722977 (OE Match)
1x Breather line, Left – 94610724075 (OE Match)
1x Breather line, Right – 94610723975 (OE Match)
2x Crankcase vent valve o-ring – 99970767740 (Genuine Porsche)
2x Crankcase vent valve o-ring – 99970767741 (Genuine Porsche)
This kit renews the crankcase ventilation pathway, which is essential for relieving pressure and removing blow-by gases from the engine’s crankcase. Efficient venting helps the engine maintain optimal performance, reduces oil contamination, and prevents pressure-related seal failures. Replacing aging or failed vent valves, hoses, and seals helps eliminate vacuum leaks, oil leaks, rough idling, and faulty diagnostic codes related to crankcase breather circulation.
Over time, crankcase vent valves and hoses can become clogged with oil residue, harden, crack, or lose sealing effectiveness. Faulty breather valves commonly lead to:
• Poor idle quality or stalling
• Oil leaks around the valve cover or intake
• Increased engine blow-by pressure
• Emission control malfunctions
• Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) codes related to crankcase vent system
Installing a complete replacement kit with OE Match components and genuine Porsche seals and O-rings restores proper function, prevents costly oil leaks, and helps maintain engine performance and emission compliance.
Replace this crankcase vent breather kit if you experience:
• Oil visible around vent valve housings
• Rough idle or hesitation upon acceleration
• Engine warning codes related to crankcase ventilation
• Noticeable vacuum leaks or whistling sounds from the engine bay
• As part of preventive maintenance at high mileage
