The engine mount is a structural component that secures the engine assembly to the vehicle’s rear subframe. Porsche uses hydraulic engine mounts in the 997 Cabrio and Targa models to absorb vibrations and control engine movement during driving.
This OE Match engine mount is engineered to meet original specifications for fit, strength and vibration damping, ensuring proper engine positioning and reliable long-term performance.
The engine mount stabilises the engine and prevents excessive movement during acceleration, braking and gear changes. Its hydraulic design helps reduce vibration and noise transmitted to the cabin, improving driving comfort and protecting surrounding drivetrain components.
