Clamp for mounting exhaust to heat exchanger.
It is manufactured to replicate the original Porsche specification, offering correct diameter, mounting geometry, material durability and secure fastenings.

Porsche 356 A/B/C 1.6L 01/1955 - 12/1965
Porsche 912 1.6L 01/1965 - 02/1970
Position on Vehicle: Connects the muffler (rear silencer) to the heater/exchanger unit of the exhaust system.
Applications: Ideal when the original clamp is corroded, broken, allowing exhaust leak at the joint, or if restoration demands correct specification hardware.
A sound exhaust system clamp ensures the crucial connection between muffler and heater-exchanger remains sealed and tethered. If this joint fails or the clamp is weakened, you may experience: noisy exhaust leaks, lower back-pressure, potential heater/exchanger corrosion or stress, increased exhaust heat intrusion under the car. Installing a correct clamp restores system integrity and protects the exhaust components.
When and why to replace:
• Visible rust, cracking or breaking of the original clamp.
• Audible exhaust leak or heat-exchange joint sound.
• During full exhaust removal or restoration when the heater/exchanger is exposed.
• When restoring a classic Porsche to correct specification with original-style parts.
