DesignTek Exhaust downpipes with 200-CPSI Catalytic Converters
The DesignTek stainless steel downpipe is a performance-oriented replacement for the catalyst section fitted to the Porsche Macan 2.0 MK2 with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF). It incorporates a high-flow 200-CPSI catalytic converter, helping to reduce exhaust restriction while retaining catalytic exhaust-gas treatment.

Positioned between the turbocharger and the remaining exhaust system, the downpipe carries hot exhaust gases away from the engine. Its freer-flowing catalyst core can help reduce back pressure and support more responsive turbocharger operation, particularly when combined with a compatible performance exhaust and suitable engine-management calibration.
The integrated catalytic converter measures approximately Ø130 × 100H × 110L mm and is manufactured to a Euro 4 specification. Compared with a catalyst-bypass pipe, this configuration provides a more road-focused solution by retaining an active catalytic element while still offering improved flow over many standard high-density catalyst assemblies.
Manufactured from durable stainless steel, the downpipe is designed to withstand high temperatures, condensation, vibration and repeated thermal cycles. Vehicle-specific pipe routing, flange positions and sensor connections help provide correct integration with compatible Porsche Macan exhaust components.
NOTE:
Sports catalytic converters and bypass pipes do not have type approval and are not legally permitted for use on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 in the United Kingdom.
