This gasket ensures a gas-tight seal at one of the hottest points in the exhaust system, preventing leaks and maintaining optimal exhaust pressure. It also helps preserve engine efficiency, reduce noise, and prevent exhaust gases or heat from escaping into the engine bay.
Why replacement matters:
• Factory gaskets can deteriorate or warp over time due to extreme heat and pressure cycles
• A worn or damaged gasket may cause exhaust leaks, reduced performance, and loud exhaust noise
• Installing an OE Match replacement restores a secure seal, maintaining proper exhaust flow, back pressure, and long-term reliability.
