- Porsche 991.2 Speedster 4.0L (510Bhp) 2019
The Fabspeed Deluxe Dual Style Tips are a premium exhaust-finishing upgrade developed specifically for the Porsche 911 991.2 Speedster 2019–2020.
Fits:
- Porsche 991.2 Speedster 4.0L (510Bhp) 2019
Designed as a direct replacement for the original Porsche exhaust tips, they enhance the rear appearance of the Speedster while retaining straightforward factory-style mounting.
The tips fit the standard Porsche exhaust system and are also compatible with suitable aftermarket exhaust systems that retain the original factory-style tip connection.
Manufactured from 304 stainless steel, the system uses an adjustable Porsche OEM-style ring clamp that allows precise positioning and alignment within the rear bumper opening.
Current finish options include:
Matte Carbon Fiber
Polished Stainless Steel
Brushed Stainless Steel
Fabspeed also offers a turn-down track tip configuration, designed to direct exhaust gas and sound towards the ground. Fabspeed states that this option can reduce measured exhaust noise by more than 3 dB, potentially helping vehicles comply with noise limits at some race circuits.
What This Product Does:
The Deluxe Dual Style Tips replace the visible factory exhaust outlets at the rear of the vehicle.
They are designed to:
- Upgrade the rear appearance of the Porsche 991.2 Speedster.
- Replace scratched, damaged or deteriorated original exhaust tips.
- Provide a choice of premium finishes.
- Retain factory-style exhaust-tip mounting.
- Allow precise exhaust-tip alignment.
- Work with the standard Porsche exhaust.
- Work with compatible aftermarket exhaust systems.
- Provide a removable and reversible appearance upgrade.
- Offer an optional turn-down configuration for track sound management.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Exhaust tips do not normally fail like an engine or suspension component, but they can deteriorate through heat, contamination, vibration and physical damage.
Possible symptoms include:
- Heavy soot accumulation.
- Permanent staining.
- Scratches.
- Dents.
- Corrosion.
- Surface pitting.
- Discolouration.
- Carbon-fibre surface damage.
- Loose mounting clamps.
- Excessive tip movement.
- Rattling.
- Exhaust tips becoming misaligned.
- Uneven projection from the bumper.
- Contact with surrounding trim.
- Cracks around mounting areas.
- Heat damage around the bumper opening.
Why Replacement Matters:
Replacing damaged or heavily deteriorated exhaust tips helps restore:
- Correct rear appearance.
- Secure exhaust-tip mounting.
- Proper alignment.
- Correct bumper clearance.
- Symmetry between the outlets.
- Premium finish quality.
- Reduced rattling or unwanted movement.
For a model such as the 991.2 Speedster, where the rear exhaust outlet is a prominent styling element, worn or damaged tips can noticeably detract from the vehicle's appearance.
