Designed primarily for track-oriented vehicles, they replace the restrictive factory header and catalytic-converter assemblies with a freer-flowing stainless-steel exhaust system.

What This Product Does:
Exhaust headers collect the gases leaving each engine cylinder and direct them into the remainder of the exhaust system.
The design and flow characteristics of the headers can have a significant effect on how efficiently a naturally aspirated engine expels exhaust gases.
The Fabspeed Race Headers replace the factory header and catalytic-converter assemblies with a performance-oriented catless design intended to reduce restriction.
Their purpose is to provide:
- Increased exhaust flow
- Improved exhaust scavenging
- Reduced backpressure
- Increased horsepower and torque
- Improved engine response
- Stronger performance through the rev range
- Reduced exhaust-system weight
- Increased exhaust volume
- A more aggressive flat-six exhaust note
When Might Race Headers Be Worth Considering:
Unlike standard replacement headers, these components are primarily a performance modification.
They may be considered when:

Both single and dual outlets are available. We offer a unique single outlet system retrofitable to dual outlets at a later date. Mufflers are extra heavy duty 16 gauge stainless steel, Maxlow system works well with all future performance improvements and has greatly improved throttle response with lower engine temperature.
