The Fabspeed Porsche 992.2 Carrera GTS Race System is a complete high-performance turbocharger-back exhaust system developed specifically for the Porsche 992.2 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid.
Fits:
- Porsche 992.2 Carrera 2 GTS 3.6L 2024>>
- Porsche 992.2 Carrera 4 GTS 3.6L 2024>>
Unlike a simple rear muffler upgrade, this system replaces a substantial portion of the factory exhaust arrangement, including the bulky OEM catalytic-converter assembly and the heavy left-rear valved side muffler.
The system incorporates a German HJS Emitec 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter and twin T-Hybrid exhaust outlets, providing a freer-flowing exhaust path while retaining catalytic exhaust treatment.
Fabspeed currently publishes:
- +60 horsepower
- +45 lb-ft torque
- 36 lb / 16 kg weight reduction
The system is engineered as a complete bolt-on package and is designed to provide a significantly more aggressive sports-car exhaust note while reducing weight and heat at the rear of the vehicle.
What This Product Does:
The factory exhaust system must balance emissions control, refinement, noise reduction, packaging and performance.
The Fabspeed Race System changes the exhaust path from the turbocharger rearward to reduce restriction and remove substantial weight from the rear of the car.
The system is designed to:
- Increase exhaust flow
- Reduce exhaust restriction
- Increase horsepower
- Increase torque
- Reduce rear vehicle weight
- Produce a more aggressive flat-six exhaust note
- Replace the heavy factory catalytic-converter assembly
- Eliminate the heavy left-rear valved side muffler
- Reduce heat retention in the rear bumper area
- Retain catalytic exhaust treatment
- Maintain a complete bolt-on installation
- Provide a reversible alternative to the factory exhaust system
For a mechanically healthy standard car, this system is primarily a performance, sound, heat-management and weight-reduction upgrade rather than a maintenance replacement.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
The factory exhaust system must balance emissions control, refinement, noise reduction, packaging and performance.

Why Replacement Matters:
A damaged exhaust component can affect performance, noise, heat management and reliability.
Continued operation with a failing catalyst, muffler or exhaust joint may contribute to:
- Reduced power
- Increased exhaust restriction
- Excessive heat
- Exhaust leakage
- Increased stress on neighbouring components
- Catalyst-related warning lights
- Poor exhaust alignment
- Unwanted vibration and rattling
Replacing defective components restores a secure and properly flowing exhaust path.
If the original exhaust is healthy, however, the Fabspeed Race System should be considered an upgrade rather than a required repair.

SOUL Valved Exhaust System for Porsche 992.2 Carrera – Unlock the True Sound of the Flat-Six
Take your Porsche 992.2 Carrera to the next level with the SOUL Valved Exhaust System. Designed specifically for the latest generation of the iconic 911, this performance exhaust delivers the sound and emotion missing from the factory setup. Stricter emissions regulations have made the OEM exhaust more restrictive than ever—muting the character of the flat-six. Our cat-back solution restores the legendary Porsche tone with a richer, higher-pitched note that’s aggressive when you want it yet refined enough for daily driving.
Engineered with a precision X-Pipe muffler, the system eliminates unwanted drone in the 2,000–2,400 RPM range while enhancing exhaust flow for improved sound and responsiveness. Whether your 992.2 is equipped with Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) or not, this system integrates seamlessly with factory valves and hardware. It’s also fully compatible with SOUL Sport Catalytic Converters and future upgrades.
Key Benefits:
• Deeper, smoother, higher-pitched sound without excessive volume
• No drone design thanks to our proprietary X-Pipe 992.2 Carrera muffler
• Full valve functionality for factory-like operation
• Modular compatibility with OEM cats or SOUL Sport Cats
Experience the exhaust note your Porsche 911 deserves—crafted for enthusiasts who demand both performance and refinement.
Construction: The Porsche 911 is a precision-built machine that is designed for a lifetime of driving excitement. We believe it should have an exhaust system meets or exceeds the lofty quality standards set by Porsche. That is why each 992.2 valved exhaust system is proudly built in the USA using mandrel-bent, thick-wall .065″ T304L stainless steel for maximum durability, strength, and performance.
Back-purged TIG welding with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas ensures maximum weld penetration, strength, and long-term durability under extreme conditions. Each water jet–cut flange is manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 standards with ultra-tight tolerances of +/-0.003 inches, guaranteeing exact alignment.
We fabricate this exhaust using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures that act as efficient heat sinks during the welding process. This not only prevents distortion and warping of the exhaust components but also preserves fixture integrity. The result is a high-performance exhaust system engineered for precision, longevity, and seamless installation every time. It is an exhaust befitting a Porsche.
Bolt On and Go: The SOUL Valved Exhaust System offers a richer, smoother tone. It is built to last a lifetime, and it is a breeze to install. Take your Porsche 992.2 Carrera to the next level with the SOUL Performance Turbo-Back Exhaust System—engineered for track junkies, thrill seekers, and serious Porsche enthusiasts who demand maximum power, sound, and performance.
Unlike our Valved Exhaust System, this is a non-valved, turbo-back design that delivers a richer, smoother, and higher-pitched exhaust note under all driving conditions. Available in two configurations, the Street Version features our high-flow SOUL Sport Catalytic Converters for improved sound and power, while the Competition Setup does not include sport cats and offers uncompromised track performance.
Built with full 3-inch tubing throughout, including a precision-engineered 992.2 Carrera X-Pipe muffler section, this system maximizes exhaust flow while enhancing drivability. Dual resonators refine the exhaust note, and integrated Helmholtz anti-drone tubes minimize resonance in the 2,000–2,400 RPM range for a smoother experience.
To prevent check-engine lights, the factory valves are mounted on a custom bracket that mimics OEM functionality - even though the system itself is non-valved. This is a complete turbo-back solution, not a modular setup.
It is not compatible with the Porsche factory exhaust or any other SOUL exhaust components. It is designed for enthusiasts looking for an all-in-one solution or those planning future upgrades such as larger turbos and fueling systems.
Key Benefits:
• Aggressive turbo-back design for maximum power and performance
• Integrated Helmholtz anti-drone tubes reduce cabin resonance
• Full 3-inch tubing for optimal exhaust flow and sound quality
• Future-proof design supports larger turbo and fueling upgrades

The Fabspeed Cat-Back Valved Maxflo Exhaust System is a premium performance exhaust upgrade developed for the 2025+ Porsche 992.2 Carrera with the 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine.
Fits:
- Porsche 992.2 Carrera 2 3.0L 2024>>
- Porsche 992.2 Carrera 2S 3.0L 2024>>
Designed as a replacement for the factory cat-back exhaust section, the system provides a more aggressive Porsche exhaust note while retaining the vehicle's factory-style valved exhaust functionality.
Fabspeed manufactures the system from 14–16 gauge CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel and uses premium Helical Limited exhaust valves manufactured in the UK.
Fabspeed specifies the system for 992.2 Carrera 3.0L models and specifically states that it does not fit the 3.6L hybrid system used by models such as the 992.2 GTS.
What This Product Does:
The cat-back exhaust controls exhaust flow, sound attenuation and outlet routing downstream of the catalytic converters.
The Fabspeed Valved Maxflo system is designed to:
- Increase exhaust sound and character
- Provide a deeper twin-turbo flat-six exhaust note
- Retain Porsche Sport Exhaust valve operation
- Allow quieter and louder exhaust modes
- Reduce restriction through the rear exhaust section
- Increase turbocharger and exhaust sound
- Maintain factory-style fitment
- Work with the original Porsche catalytic converters
- Work with compatible Fabspeed Sport Catalytic Converters
- Retain the appropriate OEM-style exhaust tip arrangement
For a mechanically healthy vehicle, this system is primarily a sound, performance-character and exhaust-flow upgrade, rather than a wear-related maintenance replacement.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Factory exhaust components are exposed to considerable heat, condensation, vibration and repeated thermal cycling.
Possible symptoms of deterioration include:
- Exhaust rattling
- Metallic buzzing
- Valve rattling
- Exhaust valves sticking
- Exhaust valves failing to open or close correctly
- Blowing or hissing noises
- Black soot around leaking joints
- Cracked welds
- Loose clamps
- Damaged exhaust hangers
- Corrosion
- Internal muffler rattling
- Exhaust tips sitting out of alignment
- Increased vibration
- Unwanted exhaust drone
- Exhaust gases escaping from damaged joints
A rattle should be diagnosed carefully because heat shields, mounting brackets or internal muffler components can produce similar symptoms.
Why Replacement Matters:
A damaged exhaust system can affect more than sound.
Leaks, broken mounts or failed valves can lead to:
- Excessive exhaust noise
- Unwanted rattling
- Poor exhaust alignment
- Increased stress on adjoining components
- Hot exhaust gases escaping near surrounding parts
- Loss of proper valve operation
- Damage to bumper or diffuser areas if the exhaust moves excessively
- Replacing a damaged system restores secure exhaust routing and correct operation.
Where the factory exhaust remains healthy, installing the Fabspeed system is primarily an upgrade for sound, exhaust character and freer-flowing construction.
