The Fabspeed Performance Package is a comprehensive exhaust, intake designed for the 2002–2007 Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S.
Kit Contents:
- Maxflo Performance Mufflers Incl Deluxe Quad Style Tips
- Sport Catalytic Converters
- Secondray Catbypass Pipes
- BMC F1 Air Filter
Fits:
- Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo 4.5L 2002-06
- Porsche 955 Cayenne Turbo S 4.5L 2006>>
Rather than modifying a single area of the vehicle, the package combines several complementary performance components to improve the way the twin-turbocharged V8 draws in air, expels exhaust gases and manages engine performance.
The package includes Maxflo Performance Mufflers with Deluxe Quad Style Tips, Sport Catalytic Converters, Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes, a BMC F1 Replacement Air Filter.
Together, these components are designed to reduce intake and exhaust restriction, improve engine breathing, sharpen response, reduce weight and produce a deeper, throatier V8 exhaust note.
The Fabspeed exhaust components are manufactured from 14–16 gauge mirror-polished T304 stainless steel, and Fabspeed lists approximately 60 lb of weight reduction compared with the corresponding factory components.
What This Product Does:
An internal-combustion engine must efficiently draw in clean air and expel combustion gases.
This becomes especially important in a high-output twin-turbocharged engine, where both the intake and exhaust systems must handle substantial airflow under load.
The Fabspeed package addresses several areas simultaneously:
- BMC F1 Air Filter – improves intake airflow while maintaining engine filtration.
- Sport Catalytic Converters – provide a performance-oriented alternative to the original catalyst arrangement.
- Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes – eliminate the secondary catalytic converters to further reduce exhaust restriction.
- Maxflo Performance Mufflers – improve rear exhaust flow while creating a deeper V8 exhaust note.
The result is a coordinated performance package rather than a single-component upgrade.
Performance:
The current Fabspeed product listing specifies:
Horsepower: TBD
Torque: TBD
Weight Reduction: Approx. 60 lb
Because package-specific horsepower and torque figures are currently listed as TBD, numerical power gains should not be assumed.
Actual performance will depend on factors including:
- Engine condition
- Turbocharger condition
- Fuel quality
- Intake condition
- Exhaust configuration
- Other modifications
- Ambient conditions
- Testing equipment and methodology
Why Upgrading Matters:
The original components do not need to be faulty or worn before this package is installed.
It is primarily a comprehensive performance upgrade.
Reasons for upgrading include:
- Maxflo Performance Mufflers
- Sport Catalytic Converters
- Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes
- BMC F1 Replacement Air Filter
- T304 stainless-steel construction
- Approx. 60 lb manufacturer-listed weight reduction
- Reduced intake restriction
- Reduced exhaust restriction
- Improved engine breathing
- Increased performance potential
- Sharper response
- Deeper twin-turbo V8 sound
- Deluxe Quad Style polished exhaust tips
