The Fabspeed Porsche 986 Boxster Sport Headers are a performance exhaust upgrade designed to improve exhaust flow, scavenging, throttle response and flat-six sound on Porsche 986 Boxster and Boxster S models from 2000–2004.

The headers use equal-length CNC mandrel-bent primary tubes combined with F1-style high-velocity merge collectors. This configuration is designed to improve the way exhaust gases leave each cylinder and merge into the exhaust system, reducing unnecessary restriction and supporting more efficient engine breathing.
2000–2004 Porsche 986 Boxster / Boxster S: The original headers incorporate primary catalytic converters. Fabspeed therefore supplies these applications with 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters.
Fabspeed reports +8 wheel horsepower and +4 lb-ft of torque when the Sport Headers are installed with the Fabspeed Maxflo Performance Exhaust System. These are manufacturer-reported figures from a specific vehicle and are not guaranteed results for every application.

2000-2004 Header With HJS Sport Catalysts:
For 2000–2004 Porsche 986 Boxster and Boxster S models, the original Porsche headers incorporate primary catalytic converters.
Fabspeed's replacement headers for these vehicles therefore incorporate 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters.
The lower-density sport catalyst design is intended to provide greater exhaust flow than a more restrictive conventional catalyst while retaining catalytic converter functionality.
