The factory Porsche exhaust and intake systems are designed to balance performance, noise control, emissions and everyday refinement.
The Fabspeed package reduces restriction in several areas simultaneously.
Its main functions and benefits include:
- Improving exhaust gas flow
- Reducing restriction in the factory side and centre mufflers
- Improving flow through the exhaust headers
- Increasing intake airflow with BMC filters
- Improving throttle response
- Increasing horsepower and torque

- Allowing quieter and louder exhaust characteristics depending on valve position

Fabspeed's current published dyno data shows gains throughout the RPM range.
Its test results show approximately:

+23.28 whp / +29.11 ft-lb at 4200 RPM

Peak gain: +15.95 whp / +26.48 ft-lb
Fabspeed also states that the package saves approximately 15 lb compared with the factory components.

DesignTek X-Pipe (primary muffler bypass) deletes the stock primary muffler and saves 6.4 lbs. from the rear of the vehicle. With a fast air flow the X-pipe increases BHP and Toque.
Made from high quality T304 14-16 gauge stainless steel, C.N.C. mandrel bent. The X-Pipe (primary muffler bypass) gives a great exotic car sound and power by about 5 decibels.
NOTE: Sports catalytic converters and bypass pipes do not have type approval and are not legally permitted for use on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 in the United Kingdom. They are not MOT compliant and must not be used on public roads. These components are intended for race and track use only.
