Fabspeed Supersport STREET Performance Exhaust Package. Porsche 991 Turbo / Turbo S (2013-2016) › FSPOR991TSPKGT
- Porsche 991.1 Turbo 3.8L (520 Bhp) 2014-16
- Porsche 991.1 Turbo S 3.8L (560 Bhp) 2014-16
The Fabspeed Supersport STREET Performance Package is a comprehensive performance upgrade designed for the 2013–2016 Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S.
Fits:
- Porsche 991.1 Turbo 3.8L (520 Bhp) 2013-16
- Porsche 991.1 Turbo S 3.8L (560 Bhp) 2013-16
Rather than upgrading a single component, the package combines freer-flowing exhaust hardware, performance headers, improved intake filtration and ECU software to enhance the overall breathing and response of the twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre engine.
The package includes:
- Fabspeed Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System
- 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters
- Fabspeed Sport Headers
- BMC F1 Replacement Air Filter
- Fabspeed XperTune Performance Software with handheld tuner
- Choice of Deluxe Quad-Style or GT2-Style exhaust tips
Fabspeed quotes gains of approximately 83 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque, together with a 15 lb reduction in weight. Actual results can vary depending on vehicle condition, fuel, specification and operating conditions.
What This Product Does:
The package improves several areas that affect engine airflow and turbocharger performance.
The factory intake and exhaust systems must balance refinement, noise control, emissions requirements and performance. The Fabspeed package uses less restrictive components and matching engine-management software to increase airflow and allow the engine to take greater advantage of the upgraded hardware.
Its main benefits include:
- Improved exhaust gas flow
- Reduced post-turbo exhaust restriction
- Improved throttle response
- Shorter turbo spool time
- Quicker acceleration
- Increased horsepower and torque
- More pronounced sports-car exhaust sound
- Reduced exhaust-system weight
- Improved intake airflow
- ECU calibration designed around the performance upgrades
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Because this package replaces or upgrades several systems, symptoms vary depending on the component affected.
- Exhaust blowing, ticking or hissing
- Cracked pipes or welds
- Black soot around leaking joints
- Metallic rattling from catalytic converters
- Reduced engine performance
- Increased turbo lag
- Restricted exhaust flow
- Check Engine Light relating to catalyst efficiency
- Unusual sulphur-like exhaust smell
- Corroded or damaged exhaust components
Why Replacement / Upgrading Matters:
The Porsche 991 Turbo relies on efficient airflow both before and after its turbochargers.
A restricted intake makes it harder for the engine to draw the air it needs, while excessive exhaust restriction works against efficient evacuation of gases after combustion.
Deteriorated catalysts, leaking headers or damaged exhaust components can therefore contribute to:
- Slower turbo response
- Reduced performance
- Increased exhaust temperatures
- Poor throttle response
- Exhaust leaks
- Increased mechanical and thermal stress
Replacing deteriorated components restores the integrity of these systems.
For a vehicle with healthy factory components, the Fabspeed package is primarily a performance upgrade, combining intake, exhaust and ECU modifications as one integrated system rather than upgrading each component independently.
