In the early 1960er, production of the first generation of the Ford Mustang began. Since then, the "Pony Car" has been considered the epitome of American sports cars. Its V8 engine is almost inextricably linked to the history of the Mustang. This detailed kit in the scale 1:4 gives car fans a fascinating insight into the function and technology of this engine.
With this kit you get to know the construction and function of the motor from a completely new angle. A motor model of the type 289 K-code-V8 from 1965 is made up of around 200 plastic parts. During assembly, no gluing is necessary, as all parts can be screwed or inserted.
In around three hours, the individual parts are assembled into a detailed model with moving cylinders, crankshaft and pistons. LEDs simulate the ignition sparks in the cylinders. The transparent engine block gives you a view of this fascinating interplay. An integrated sound module with original motor sound makes the model come alive at the push of a button
