Diagram ref no: 2
What This Product Does
The strut forms part of the front crossmember support arrangement. The supplied 911 Turbo diagrams identify it alongside the auxiliary support, adapter and protective plate; these are separate components, not alternative names for this strut.
Functions
- Provides support within the front crossmember assembly.
- Replaces a damaged or deteriorated crossmember strut during repair or restoration.
Technical Details
- Part reference: 93034103102.
- Brand: OE Match.
- Position: Front.
- Identified as a strut in the supplied front axle and stabiliser diagrams.
- The diagrams specify two struts per vehicle; this does not identify the quantity supplied with this product.
Symptoms of Fault
Corrosion, cracking, impact distortion or deterioration around the mounting points warrant inspection. Knocking and unwanted movement can also originate from nearby bushes, joints or fixings, so these symptoms alone do not establish that the strut needs replacement.
Why Replacement Matters
A damaged support component should be assessed before the assembly is refitted. Inspect the adjoining mounting points and hardware at the same time, rather than assuming that replacing the strut will resolve every source of movement or noise. OE Match focuses on Porsche replacement applications, with original references and vehicle specifications used to identify suitable components.
FAQs
- Is this a shock absorber?
No. This is a crossmember support strut, not a damping unit. - Should nearby fixings be checked?
Yes. Examine bolts, mounting points and associated components for corrosion, damage or looseness during dismantling. - Is an alignment check needed?
If the repair disturbs suspension mounting positions or geometry, have the alignment checked after reassembly.

Bolts securing suspension cross-members endure constant dynamic stress, heat, and exposure to moisture. Over time, this can lead to corrosion, stretching, or loss of clamp force, potentially compromising alignment and safety.
When to Replace:
• During rear subframe or cross-member removal/reinstallation
• If original bolts show corrosion, thread damage, or deformation
• When performing a complete suspension overhaul or alignment service

Diagram ref no 11
What This Product Does
This bracket is a component of the rear axle mounting assembly. It should not be confused with the complete cross member, adjacent side sections or separate support braces.
Technical Details
- Brand: Genuine Porsche.
- Supplied product reference: 98133126111.
- Position: rear axle assembly
Symptoms of Fault
Inspect the bracket and surrounding mounting points for corrosion, cracks, distortion or unwanted movement. Rear suspension knocks and irregular tyre wear require diagnosis, as bushes, joints and other mounting components can produce similar symptoms.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewal may be appropriate where inspection confirms damage or deterioration at the bracket. Check neighbouring fixings and mounting components during the repair, and assess whether suspension geometry needs checking afterwards.
