Information
Springbox reinforcement kit for the 2 front seats of all Porsche 911 and 912 models from 1966 - 1973 with standard seats. Contains 8 high resistance coils, 2 hourse hair panels and correction filling.
The seat base of your Porsche 911 '66-'73 is of the spingbox type. Extensive use and age will cause the coils to loose resistance and break. This reduces the support of the seat and will overstretch your seat covers causing them to tear and crack.
When replacing your front seat covers it is recommended to install our front seat reinforcement kit. It will provide you better ride comfort and increase the life of you new seat covers.
Delivery Time is Normally 4-6 weeks on this product as this is made to order

The springs are to be
positioned 3-5cm inward of each corner of the spring box.

Short springs are for the
back. Long ones go in the front
- You can simply work them in and attached them
to the old coils
- The horsehair panels need to be cut to measure
(with a breadknife or scissors)
- You can layer the horsehair to pad up the
bolsters if needed and glue layers together
- The fine white foam is used a finishing sheet
between the horsehair and the seat covers

If your car is equipped with the 918 fixed carbon bucket seats, it can be a physical challenge climbing in and out, leading to visible scuffing, deep creases in the leather trim and torn stitching.
Here is a solution in the form of its 918 seat bolster protectors.
Once installed over the outside bolsters of both seats, this new-to-market product perfectly replicates the look of the standard bolster due to being made from Porsche factory black Napa leather and deviated stitching in the colour of your choice.
Along with the additional 'cuff cover', these protectors will also shield the rear of the bolster without looking out of place and installation is easy.
Please Note Protector "Cuff" does not have deviated stitching
