What This Product Does:
The wiper arm is the mechanical lever that connects the wiper motor via linkage to the wiper blade and transmits motion, pressing the blade onto the windshield to wipe.
Symptoms Of A Faulty Or Worn Wiper Arm:
- The wiper blade lifts off the windscreen in parts of its sweep — it’s not pressing properly.
- Chattering / skipping noise as the blade moves across the glass, indicating inconsistent pressure or misalignment.
- Poor wiping performance (streaks, missed spots) even with a new blade — could be the arm angle is off.
- Corrosion, bending, or damage to the arm, weakening its ability to hold the blade firmly.
