Front wishbone rear bush for Porsche 968 (1992–1995) from the Powerflex Heritage collection, supplied as a replacement for the original round rear wishbone bush.
What This Product DoesPowerflex Heritage bushes replace the factory rear bush on the front wishbone with a modern polyurethane component, helping the suspension arm move correctly while maintaining consistent geometry at this mounting point.
Functions
- Locate the rear of the front wishbone in the subframe
- Control movement of the arm under braking and cornering loads
- Help maintain front wheel alignment and geometry
- Support more consistent suspension behaviour as rubber bushes age
Symptoms of Fault
- Knocking or clunks from the front suspension over bumps
- Vague or wandering steering feel
- Uneven or accelerated front tyre wear
- Instability or tramlining under braking or during direction changes
- Excessive movement detected at the rear front wishbone bush on inspection
Why Replacement MattersWorn or softened front wishbone bushes allow unwanted movement in the arm, which can affect steering precision and tyre wear. Replacing the original bush with a suitable Powerflex Heritage part refreshes this mounting point using a polyurethane material aimed at road use, helping older Porsche 968 models retain stable geometry while keeping an appearance similar to the original rubber component.

A: Yes, use the supplied or approved lubricant during installation to help prevent squeaks and binding. - Q: Should I replace both sides at once?
A: It is generally advisable to renew bushes on both sides of the axle to keep behaviour consistent. - Q: Is alignment required after fitting?
A: A geometry check is recommended after suspension bush replacement to ensure correct settings.
