Diagram ref no 1
This belt is used on selected Porsche 911 models including 991.2 S, 992.1 S, 992 S and 992 Turbo applications, depending on chassis, suspension and equipment specification.
This part replaces earlier Porsche number: 9A210222100
What This Part Does / Functions
• Transfers drive from the engine pulley system to auxiliary components
• Helps drive the alternator to maintain battery charging
• Supports correct operation of the engine accessory drive system
• Helps maintain reliable auxiliary component performance
• Provides the correct OE Porsche belt length, rib profile and fitment
• Helps prevent belt slip, squeal and accessory-drive faults when fitted correctly
• Replaces a cracked, worn, stretched, glazed or noisy original belt
• Maintains factory Porsche service specification and reliability.
Why Replace This Part?
The drive belt is a normal service wear item. Over time, heat, tension, pulley contact and engine operation can cause the belt to crack, glaze, stretch, fray or lose grip. A worn belt may cause squealing noises, charging faults, accessory-drive issues or warning lights. Replacing it with a Genuine Porsche OE drive belt helps restore correct auxiliary drive operation and supports reliable performance of the belt-driven systems.
When to Replace This Part
• If the belt is cracked, glazed, frayed or visibly worn
• If the belt squeals, slips or makes noise during engine operation
• If the belt has stretched or no longer runs correctly
• During scheduled service or preventative belt replacement
• When replacing the alternator, belt tensioner, idler pulleys or related accessory-drive components
• If the belt has been contaminated by oil, coolant or debris
• If charging or accessory-drive faults are linked to belt slip
• When restoring the engine bay with correct OE Porsche service parts.
Where It Fits on the Car
This belt fits on the engine accessory drive system, routing around the relevant pulleys, idlers and tensioner according to the factory belt layout. It drives auxiliary components as specified by the vehicle’s engine and equipment configuration.

• Maintains factory Porsche reliability and service specification.
Why Replace This Part?
The drive belt is a service wear item and is exposed to heat, tension, pulley contact, engine movement and age. Over time, the belt can crack, glaze, stretch, fray or lose grip on the pulleys. A worn belt can cause squealing, slipping, charging issues, accessory-drive faults or complete belt failure. Replacing it with a Genuine Porsche OE drive belt helps restore correct belt-drive operation and supports reliable performance of the engine accessory system.
When to Replace This Part
• If the belt is cracked, glazed, frayed or visibly worn
• If there is belt squeal or slipping on start-up or under load
• If the belt has become stretched or damaged
• During scheduled belt inspection or maintenance
• When replacing the alternator, belt tensioner, idler pulley or related accessory-drive components
• If the belt has been contaminated by oil, coolant or debris
• If there are charging or accessory-drive fault symptoms caused by poor belt drive
• When restoring the engine bay with correct OE Porsche service parts.
Where It Fits on the Car
This belt fits on the engine accessory drive system, running around the relevant pulleys according to the Porsche factory belt routing. It is used to transfer drive from the engine to auxiliary components, depending on model and equipment specification.

What This Product Does
This bolt provides a fixing within the auxiliary drive belt tensioner lever assembly. The lever, roller, protective cap and hydraulic tensioner are separate components; the bolt does not itself generate belt tension or control valve timing.
Functions
- Provides the specified threaded fixing for the tensioner lever assembly.
- Allows damaged or missing fastening hardware to be renewed during belt-system repairs.
Technical Details
- Brand: OE Match.
- Part reference: PAF008343.
- Specified dimensions: M10 x 30.
- Described in the assembly diagrams as a round-head screw.
- Reference 99907357901 also appears for this fixing in the 991.1 diagram.
- Identified as component 3 of 4 within applicable tensioning roller assemblies.
Symptoms of Fault
Inspect for damaged threads, a worn tool-engagement surface, corrosion or missing hardware. Belt squeal, chirping, pulley movement and belt dust warrant inspection of the complete belt drive rather than assuming the bolt is responsible.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing damaged fastening hardware supports correct reassembly. Check the adjoining lever, roller and mounting threads before fitting, and use the vehicle-specific workshop tightening procedure. Do not substitute tightening figures intended for a different tensioner fastener.
FAQs
Does this include the tensioner or pulley?
No. This product is the lever bolt; the associated assembly components are separate parts.
Is this a timing belt component?
It is identified for the auxiliary V-belt or poly-V-belt tensioner assembly, rather than the engine valve-timing system.
What should I check before fitting?
Confirm PAF008343 against the vehicle application and inspect the mating threads and surrounding belt-drive components.
