OE Match iridium spark plug set (Pack of 4) is designed to replicate the original Porsche factory spark plugs in fit, heat range, and ignition performance. Supplied as a complete set of four, it is specifically suited to the Porsche 924 Turbo (1979–1985).
PACK OF 4
Fits:
Porsche 924 2.0 Turbo 06.80 - 10.86 130kw 177hp Engine type M31.03
This OE Match iridium spark plug set includes four identical spark plugs, each manufactured to OE-equivalent standards for thread dimensions, electrode design, and thermal performance. The iridium-tipped electrode provides a finer spark point and superior resistance to wear compared to standard spark plugs, ensuring stable ignition and consistent combustion over extended service intervals.
Porsche turbocharged engines operate under increased heat and pressure, making spark plug quality critical. This OE Match set helps maintain smooth idle, responsive throttle behaviour, and efficient fuel burn while supporting reliable performance under boost. Supplied as a complete set, it ensures balanced ignition across all cylinders and uncomplicated installation with no modification required.
Each spark plug generates a precisely timed electrical spark to ignite the air-fuel mixture in its cylinder. As a full set, they ensure uniform combustion across all four cylinders, supporting smooth engine operation and consistent turbocharged performance.
Function:
• Produces a reliable and consistent ignition spark
• Iridium electrodes improve durability and spark stability
• Supports smooth idle, responsive throttle, and efficient combustion
• Direct replacement for compatible Porsche applications
Spark plugs naturally wear over time due to repeated heat cycles, combustion stress, and electrical load. Worn plugs can lead to misfires, rough idle, reduced power, and increased fuel consumption. Choosing an OE Match iridium spark plug helps maintain consistent ignition performance, prolonged component life, and dependable running characteristics that match the original factory intent.
When to replace:
• Engine misfires or rough idle
• Hesitation under acceleration
• Increased fuel consumption
• At manufacturer-recommended service intervals
• During routine tune-ups or ignition system servicing
