Jet (calibre 115) — is designed for Solex 40 PII / 44 PII carburettors in Porsche 356B/C models. Engineered to match original specification, it installs easily and ensures accurate fuel flow and throttle response. Ideal for rebuilds or maintenance to preserve authentic performance and drivability.

The jet (nozzle) controls the fuel metering in a section of the carburettor — by providing a calibrated aperture for fuel flow, it helps maintain the correct air-fuel mixture at a given throttle or load.
It ensures consistent fuel delivery in the mid or high-load range (depending on exactly which circuit the “115” jet pertains to) which in turn supports smooth throttle response, proper acceleration, consistent idle behaviour and correct mixture under varying conditions.
A correctly spec’d jet helps avoid lean or rich conditions that can cause hesitation, flat spots, unstable idling, poor throttle tip-in or excessive fuel consumption.
In a restoration or rebuild context: replacing worn, damaged or incorrect jets ensures the carburettor operates as originally designed, which is especially important in period-correct classic vehicles.
