The electronically controlled exhaust valves allow the driver to switch between a refined exhaust tone and a more pronounced sports exhaust sound at the push of a button.
Manufactured from high-quality 304-grade stainless steel and precision welded for strength and durability, the system is designed as a direct replacement for the original rear silencers, requiring no cutting or welding.
Supplied complete with twin exhaust tailpipes, available in silver or black finish, and an exhaust valve control module, this is an ideal upgrade for Porsche owners seeking improved sound, throttle response and everyday driving enjoyment.
What Do the Ninemeister 9m Valved Sports Silencers Do?
The Ninemeister 9m sports exhaust system replaces the original rear silencers with performance-designed stainless steel units featuring electronically operated exhaust valves.
The valves allow the exhaust sound to be adjusted between quieter and louder settings, giving the driver greater control over the character of the engine.
With the valves in the quieter setting, the exhaust maintains a more restrained tone suitable for everyday driving.
When the valves are opened, the system produces a deeper and more aggressive flat-six soundtrack, enhancing the driving experience during acceleration and spirited driving.
Why Upgrade to Ninemeister 9m Sports Exhaust Silencers?
The original Porsche 997.1 Carrera exhaust system is designed to balance performance, comfort and refinement.
For owners wanting a more distinctive exhaust sound, the Ninemeister 9m system offers greater flexibility without sacrificing everyday usability.

Electronically
Controlled Exhaust Valves
One of the main advantages of the Ninemeister 9m system is the ability to adjust the exhaust sound at the push of a button.
The supplied valve control module operates the exhaust valves, allowing the driver to select a quieter setting or a more pronounced sports exhaust tone.
This makes the system suitable for owners who want a more aggressive exhaust sound during enthusiastic driving without permanently committing to a louder exhaust configuration.
Why Choose 304-Grade Stainless Steel?
The Ninemeister 9m rear silencers are manufactured from premium 304-grade stainless steel, offering excellent resistance to corrosion, heat and everyday environmental exposure.
Unlike conventional mild-steel exhaust components, stainless steel provides improved protection against moisture, road salt and long-term deterioration.
Precision-welded construction further enhances the strength and durability of the exhaust system.
The silencers are supplied with a manufacturer's lifetime guarantee, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
Improved Exhaust Sound & Throttle Response
The Ninemeister 9m system is designed to deliver a noticeable improvement in the exhaust character of the Porsche 997.1 Carrera.
Its sports silencer design allows the naturally aspirated flat-six engine to produce a deeper, richer and more distinctive sound, particularly under acceleration.
The manufacturer also reports improved throttle response, contributing to a more engaging driving experience.
Specific power or torque gains are not stated and should not be assumed.
When Should the Sports Exhaust Be Fitted?
The Ninemeister 9m Valved Sports Exhaust is primarily a performance and sound upgrade rather than a routine service replacement.
It is ideal for owners who want to:
- Enhance the original Porsche flat-six exhaust sound
- Add selectable quiet and sports exhaust settings
- Replace ageing or corroded original silencers
- Upgrade to a durable stainless steel exhaust system
- Improve the appearance of the rear exhaust tailpipes
- Enjoy a more engaging driving experience
- Retain everyday usability with adjustable exhaust volume
Check the vehicle's model year and exhaust configuration before ordering.
Installation Notes
The Ninemeister 9m Valved Sports Exhaust is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory rear silencers.
No cutting or welding is required when fitted to a compatible vehicle with the original exhaust mounting arrangement.
The supplied valve control module must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure correct operation of the electronically controlled exhaust valves.
Professional installation is recommended. All exhaust connections, mounting points, electrical connections and clearances should be checked before the vehicle is returned to service.
Confirm local road-use noise regulations and any applicable vehicle approval requirements before installation.

9m Universal Exhaust Vacuum Valve Controller
Take greater control of a vacuum-operated sports exhaust system with the 9m Universal Exhaust Vacuum Valve Controller.
Developed by Ninemeister to enhance the functionality of exhaust valve systems, the controller allows the exhaust valves to be operated remotely using the supplied key fobs. The kit uses a vacuum control module and is designed for straightforward installation without cutting or splicing into the vehicle's factory wiring or fuses.
What Does the Exhaust Valve Controller Do?
Many sports exhaust systems use vacuum-operated valves to change the route exhaust gases take through the silencer. Opening or closing these valves alters the exhaust sound.
The 9m controller provides additional control over this system, allowing the driver to operate compatible vacuum exhaust valves using a dedicated remote key fob.
This is particularly useful for vehicles fitted with a valved sports exhaust where the owner wants convenient independent control of the exhaust valves.
Why Upgrade?
A dedicated exhaust valve controller gives the driver greater control over when the exhaust valves operate.
The 9m system is also designed to minimise installation complexity. Power is supplied through a cigarette lighter adaptor, so there is no requirement to cut or splice into the factory wiring or fuse system.

Universal Vacuum Exhaust Valve Controllers
A vacuum exhaust valve controller is an ideal addition to a compatible valved sports exhaust, giving the driver convenient remote control over exhaust valve operation.
Rather than relying solely on the vehicle's original exhaust valve strategy, the 9m controller provides a dedicated remote-control solution while avoiding permanent modifications to the factory wiring.
For Porsche owners searching for a remote exhaust valve controller, vacuum-operated sports exhaust controller or universal valved exhaust remote, the 9m kit provides a simple solution suitable for compatible vacuum-controlled exhaust systems.
