Featuring a driver's side heel protection pad and a slip-resistant surface, these mats help protect the original vehicle carpeting against everyday wear, dirt and moisture while maintaining a classic black interior appearance.
Not suitable for right-hand drive vehicles unless specifically confirmed.
What Does It Do?
The floor mats provide a protective layer over the original Porsche carpeting, helping prevent damage caused by footwear, dirt and everyday use.
The driver's side heel protection pad provides additional reinforcement in the area most exposed to repeated contact during pedal operation.
Why Is It Important?
Original Porsche 964 and 993 interior carpets can become worn, stained or damaged over time.
A correctly fitted floor mat set helps:
- Protect the original interior carpeting
- Reduce wear in high-contact areas
- Keep footwells cleaner
- Preserve the appearance of the interior
- Improve the overall finish of a restored vehicle
When Should They Be Replaced?
Consider replacing existing floor mats if they show:
- Excessive wear or thinning
- Damaged heel protection areas
- Permanent staining or discolouration
- Deteriorated edges or backing
- Poor fitment or movement within the footwell
New mats are also a useful finishing touch during Porsche interior restoration.
Checks & Installation
Remove the existing mats and clean the footwell carpeting
before fitting the replacements.
Ensure each mat sits correctly without interfering with the
accelerator, brake or clutch pedals.
Check that the driver's mat remains securely positioned
during use.
