Restore the critical upper mounting point of your front suspension with this comprehensive overhaul kit. Designed for the front strut tower on Porsche 981 Boxster, this kit includes the top mount, bearing and all required hardware such as nuts, washers, bump stop/dust cover components.
Fits:
- Porsche Boxster 981 2.7L 2012-16 (For Cars Without PASM)
- Porsche Boxster 981 S / GTS 3.4L 2012-16 (For Cars Without PASM)
Diagram Ref No 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13
What This Product Does:
- The shock absorber top mount (sometimes called “strut mount” or “upper mount”) attaches the top of the front damper/strut assembly to the vehicle’s body/strut tower. It supports the spring/damper load, allows steering movement (via the bearing), and isolates noise/vibration.
- Over time, the rubber mount may degrade, the bearing can bind or wear, hardware may corrode — leading to poor ride, noise, loss of precision.
- The overhaul kit replaces the mount, bearing and all relevant hardware so the top of your front suspension is restored to correct specification — improving longevity, ride quality, handling, and eliminating common wear symptoms.
When You Should Consider Replacement:
- Knocking, creaking or clunking from the top of the strut tower when driving over bumps or turning the steering wheel.
- Steering or handling feel degraded: less precision, vague feedback, increased body roll, front-end wander.
- Suspension ride quality worsened, front-end noise or vibration transmitted into the cabin.
- You are replacing front shocks/struts: since the top mount must be removed for that job, it’s efficient to replace the mount/bearing/hardware at the same time.
- Mount or bearing visibly worn: If inspection shows the mount rubber cracked, bearing flattened or play exists, the overhaul kit is justified.
- Preserves ride & handling performance: The front suspension’s mount integrity influences tyre contact patch, cornering stability, and steering precision. A worn mount can compromise all of these.
- Eliminates noise & improves NVH: Worn mounts or bearings contribute to noise, creaks, clunks and general poor ride comfort. Replacing them improves refinement and comfort.
- Prevents further damage: If the top mount fails or deforms, the strut, spring seat, bearing or body mounting may suffer damage. A fresh kit protects the rest of the suspension.
- More cost-effective in service: Since the strut top mount is accessed when the strut is removed, it’s efficient to replace the mount kit at the same time rather than later.

Information
Rennline Clubsport Camber Plate Top Mount Set.
SET OF 2
Fits:
Porsche 991/981/718 2WD except GT3/GT4
Whether you use your car on the street or the track, optimum camber settings are critical for both performance and tire wear during spirited street driving and at the track. These plates were designed for 991/981 owners looking to achieve additional camber without needing to change to GT3-style adjustable control arms. By using an offset bearing housing, the range of possible camber adjustment is shifted to provide an additional 1.1 degrees of camber at all OEM-equivalent settings.
These mounts are CNC machined in house from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for maximum strength while keeping weight to a minimum. Precision teflon lined bearings are held in place with a two-part threaded housing which eliminates the issues commonly associated with camber plates that utilize a snap ring such as excessive noise and premature failure. This also minimizes camber changes under load meaning you have more precise alignment settings when it matters most.
Designed specifically for cars using factory shocks and any aftermarket setup designed to work with OEM mounts, this is the easiest and simplest way to gain camber in your 991/981 car. In addition, by making camber changes at the top of the strut instead of at the control arm, caster changes are minimized resulting in an easier setup and minimizing necessary modifications.
• 1.1* increase in negative camber at factory settings results in greater range of adjustment
• CNC machined housings
• Fully compatible with factory and aftermarket shock/spring kits utilizing factory mounts
• Equalize tire wear and maximize traction at once
• Precision teflon-lined spherical bearing
• Reduced compliance results in more precise handling and alignment

Information
Rennline Race Spec Camber Plate FRONT Top Mount Set.
SET OF 2
Fits:
Porsche 991 / 981 / 718 2WD incl GT3/GT4 FRONT
If you are looking for maximum performance and adjustability from your 991/981 you are going to want to be in complete control of your camber settings. Designed to work with non-OEM suspension options such as JRZ, Moton and GT3/Cup struts, Rennline Race Spec Camber Plates will give you perfect combination of adjustability and durability.
this kit will fit the Cayman GT4 and 991 GT3 with OEM dampers.
Designed for anyone from the weekend enthusiast to the dedicated track day veteren, these camber plates allow you to add camber in the optimum way. Swapping to GT3-style lower control arms can increase camber significantly, but it comes at the cost of reduced caster without replacing additional components. Our Race Spec Camber Plates solve this issue by adding camber at the top of the strut, minimizing geometry changes to other areas of the suspension system.
• 1.1* increase in negative camber
• CNC machined housings
• Designed for use with non-OEM style coilovers and struts
• Equalize tire wear and maximize traction at once
• Precision teflon-lined spherical bearing
• Reduced compliance results in more precise handling and alignment
