The OE MATCH Porsche Front Wiper Crank Drive, Left-Hand Drive (LHD) is a windscreen wiper linkage component designed to convert the rotary motion of the wiper motor into the precise sweeping movement of the front windscreen wiper arms on compatible Porsche left-hand drive models. This precision-engineered crank drive ensures smooth, synchronised and reliable wiper operation in all weather conditions.

The crank drive is engineered to withstand continual operation, vibration, moisture and temperature extremes. Designed as a replacement, it integrates seamlessly with the wiper linkage and motor assembly, restoring the correct wiping arc and dependable long-term performance.
What This Product Does:
- Transfers movement from the wiper motor to the wiper linkage.
- Converts rotary motor motion into the correct sweeping action.
- Ensures synchronised movement of the front wiper arms.
- Maintains the factory wiping pattern across the windscreen.
- Supports smooth and quiet wiper operation.
- Helps provide clear visibility during adverse weather.
- Forms an essential part of the front windscreen wiper system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Front wipers moving erratically or unevenly.
- Reduced or incomplete wiping coverage.
- Clicking, knocking or grinding noises from the wiper linkage.
- Excessive play within the linkage.
- Wipers stopping in the wrong position.
- Intermittent or jerky wiper movement.
- Bent, worn or damaged crank arm.
- Corrosion affecting pivot operation.
- Wiper linkage disconnecting from the crank drive.
- Complete loss of front wiper operation if the component fails.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The front wiper crank drive is subjected to continual mechanical loading, vibration and exposure to water, road salt and dirt every time the windscreen wipers are used. Over time, pivot points and linkage connections can wear, while corrosion and fatigue may reduce the component's strength and precision.
- A worn crank drive can result in poor wiping performance, excessive noise and incorrect wiper alignment, reducing visibility in wet weather and increasing the risk of unsafe driving conditions. Continued operation with a worn linkage can also place unnecessary strain on the wiper motor and surrounding components.

Although small, the rear wiper blade cover plays an important role in protecting the wiper assembly from dirt, moisture and road debris. Over time, exposure to UV rays, weather conditions and repeated use can cause the original cover to become cracked, faded or detached, leaving the rear wiper looking unfinished and exposing internal components to the elements.
Whether you're replacing a damaged cover or refreshing the exterior trim during routine maintenance or restoration, this OE Match replacement offers factory-quality fitment, durable construction and an authentic appearance.
What Does the Rear Wiper Blade Cover Do?
The rear wiper blade cover serves both protective and cosmetic functions.
Its primary roles include:
- Protecting the rear wiper blade attachment.
- Shielding internal fixing components from dirt and moisture.
- Helping reduce corrosion around the mounting area.
- Providing a neat, finished appearance.
- Supporting the long-term durability of the rear wiper assembly.
- Maintaining the original exterior styling.
A correctly fitted cover helps preserve both the functionality and appearance of the rear wiper system.
Why Replace the Rear Wiper Blade Cover?
Rear wiper covers are continually exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
Common reasons for replacement include:
