Designed as a direct OE-style replacement, it provides factory-correct fitment and dependable sealing performance, making it ideal during intake manifold removal, engine repairs or preventative maintenance.
What This Product Does:
- Creates an airtight seal between the intake manifold and cylinder head.
- Prevents vacuum and intake air leaks.
- Ensures the correct airflow into the engine.
- Supports efficient combustion and engine performance.
- Helps maintain optimum fuel economy.
- Contributes to reduced exhaust emissions.
- Restores factory intake sealing performance.
- Forms an essential part of the engine air intake system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Rough or unstable idle.
- Hissing noise caused by a vacuum leak.
- Illuminated engine management or check engine warning light.
- Lean fuel mixture fault codes.
- Hesitation during acceleration.
- Reduced engine performance.
- Increased fuel consumption.
- Engine misfires.
- Poor throttle response.
- Failed emissions or MOT inspection.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The intake manifold gasket is continually exposed to engine heat, vacuum pressure, vibration and repeated thermal cycling. Over time, the gasket material can harden, compress or crack, reducing its ability to maintain an effective seal between the intake manifold and cylinder head.
- A leaking intake manifold gasket allows unmetered air to enter the engine, disrupting the air-to-fuel ratio calculated by the engine control unit. This can result in rough running, poor performance, increased fuel consumption, higher emissions and engine management warning lights. If left unresolved, prolonged vacuum leaks may place additional strain on ignition and fuel system components.
- Replacing a worn or damaged gasket with the OE Match Intake Manifold Gasket restores a proper airtight seal and ensures the intake system operates as designed. Manufactured to OE standards using premium-quality heat- and fuel-resistant materials, it provides factory-style fitment, excellent sealing performance and long-lasting durability, helping maintain the efficiency, reliability and performance expected from your Porsche.
