The component is fitted within the handbrake cable routing assembly and helps maintain the correct position of the parking brake cable.
What This Part Does / Functions
- Guides the handbrake cable along its intended route.
- Supports correct cable alignment within the parking brake assembly.
- Helps prevent unwanted cable movement.
- Reduces the risk of cable rubbing against surrounding components.

- If the existing guide tube is corroded or damaged.
- When carrying out parking brake repairs.
- If the original tube is bent or distorted.
- During rear brake and handbrake mechanism refurbishment.

Where It Fits on the Car
The guide tube fits within the mechanical handbrake cable routing system, associated with the parking brake operating mechanism.
It helps guide the handbrake cable towards the relevant rear parking brake assembly.
The vehicle uses two guide tubes in the specified arrangement.
