What This Product Does:
- Restores the original driver's pedal floor board.
- Provides structural support around the pedal assembly.
- Maintains the correct layout of the driver's footwell.
- Supports proper installation of carpets and pedal components.
- Protects the underlying bodywork and pedal linkage.
- Improves the appearance and finish of the interior.
- Replaces damaged or deteriorated original floor boards.
- Forms an essential part of the vehicle's interior floor assembly.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Cracked, warped or broken floor board.
- Soft or weakened panel around the pedals.
- Loose or poorly fitting carpet.
- Excessive flexing under foot pressure.
- Water damage or deterioration from moisture.
- Damaged or missing sections around the pedal assembly.
- Difficulty securing the floor board correctly.
- Rattles or movement from the footwell area.
- Cosmetic deterioration affecting the interior.
- Reduced originality during restoration.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The pedal floor board is exposed to constant foot traffic, vibration, moisture and general wear throughout the life of the vehicle. Over time, the original board can weaken, warp or crack due to age, repeated use or water ingress, reducing its structural integrity and affecting the fitment of carpets and surrounding interior components.
- A damaged floor board can create an unstable driving position, allow excessive movement in the footwell and detract from the appearance of the vehicle's interior. During restoration, replacing worn floor boards is essential to achieve factory-quality fitment, improve driver comfort and preserve the originality of a classic Porsche.
- Replacing the pedal floor board restores the strength, appearance and functionality of the driver's footwell. The OE Match reproduction provides factory-style fitment, authentic dimensions and durable construction, making it the ideal choice for Porsche restoration, repair and long-term interior preservation.
