Diagram Ref No 25
Unlike original mild steel tubes that can corrode over time, this stainless steel version offers increased resistance to rust and long-term deterioration, making it particularly well suited to rebuilt engines and restoration projects. Exposure to heat cycles, corrosion, vibration, and age can cause original push rod tubes to rust, deform, or leak, resulting in oil loss and contamination. Replacing worn or damaged tubes restores the correct sealing of the valve train and helps ensure reliable engine operation. This OE Match component is ideal for routine maintenance, engine rebuilds, repairs, and Porsche restoration projects.

What This Product Does:
- Houses and protects the engine push rods.
- Provides a sealed passage between the crankcase and cylinder head.
- Helps prevent engine oil leaks.
- Protects the valve train from dirt and contamination.
- Offers improved corrosion resistance compared to standard steel tubes.
- Replaces rusted, damaged, or leaking original push rod tubes.
- Provides an OE-style fit and dependable quality.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Engine oil leaking from the push rod tubes.
- Rust or corrosion on the original tubes.
- Dented or distorted tube bodies.
- Damaged or leaking tube seals.
- Oil contamination around the cylinder barrels.
- Visible deterioration caused by age or heat.
- Oil staining beneath the engine.
- Excessive wear discovered during engine overhaul.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The push rod tube plays a vital role in protecting the push rods while maintaining a sealed oil passage between the engine crankcase and cylinder head. A corroded or leaking tube can result in persistent oil leaks, contamination of the valve train, and unnecessary oil loss, reducing engine cleanliness and reliability.
- Replacing worn push rod tubes with this stainless steel version restores proper sealing while providing improved corrosion resistance for long-term durability. Manufactured as a direct replacement and produced to OE-style specifications, this OE Match stainless steel push rod tube offers the correct fit, dependable quality, and extended service life, making it an excellent choice for Porsche maintenance, engine rebuilds, repairs, and restoration projects.
