Information
Footwell heating nozzle. Length: 217mm
This footwell heating nozzle - also commonly referred to as a heater slide - is a precision-engineered replacement component that matches the original Porsche factory design. Installed within the cabin side rail or footwell heating duct system, it measures approximately 217mm in length and is specifically tailored for 356 B T5 models.
Sold individually, 2 required per vehicle.
Fits:
Porsche 356 B T5
Diagram ref no 34
This component channels heated air from the vehicle’s heating system directly into the cabin footwell. It ensures that warm air is distributed efficiently, improving passenger comfort, especially in colder conditions. Additionally, it helps maintain balanced airflow within the cabin.
Function
• Directs warm air into the footwell area
• Ensures efficient airflow from heater channels to cabin
• Supports even heat distribution inside the vehicle
• Maintains proper operation of the HVAC ducting system
• Helps optimise cabin comfort in cold weather
Over time, original heating nozzles can become worn, blocked, or damaged, restricting airflow and reducing heating efficiency. Replacing this component restores proper air distribution, improves cabin comfort, and ensures the heating system performs as intended - particularly important in classic vehicles where HVAC efficiency is already limited.
When to replace
• Weak or reduced airflow into the footwell
• Visible damage, cracks, or corrosion
• During heating system repairs or restoration
• Uneven or poor cabin heating performance
• Missing or incorrectly fitted original components
