Rear 1/4 window seal (inner).
The rear quarter window seal sits around the rear side window (quarter glass) opening, creating a weather-tight barrier between the glass and the vehicle body. Its role is to block water, wind, dust, and external noise from entering the cabin, helping preserve a dry, quiet, and comfortable interior.

This seal provides a secure and flexible interface between the fixed rear quarter glass and the body panel. It supports the glass, cushions vibrations, and ensures a snug fit by preventing gaps that can lead to leaks or noise.
• Application: Rear quarter (D-window) weatherseal — fits around the quarter window frame on the coupe body. Can be used on either side as specified by fitment guide.
Over time, original quarter window seals can harden, shrink, crack, or deteriorate due to age, heat, UV exposure, and repeated vibration. When seals fail:
• Water can seep into the cabin during rain or car washes.
• Wind and road noise can increase at speed.
• Rust and interior damage may develop from moisture ingress.
Replacing worn seals restores the original weatherproofing and comfort levels, helping preserve the condition and value of your classic Porsche.
Replace the rear quarter window seal if you notice:
• Water entering around the rear window area
• Excessive wind noise or rattling while driving
