Designed as a comprehensive cooling system service package, it ensures correct coolant circulation, accurate temperature regulation, and reliable accessory belt operation. Ideal for preventative maintenance or full cooling system repair, this kit provides everything needed to restore confidence in your Porsche’s engine cooling performance.
The water pump continuously circulates coolant through the engine and radiators, while the thermostat regulates operating temperature and ensures the engine warms up properly. The serpentine belt drives essential accessories—including the water pump—so replacing all these components together ensures long-term reliability and prevents future breakdowns.
What This Complete Water Pump Kit Does
This cooling system service kit:
- Replaces
the water pump to restore proper coolant flow
- Includes
a new thermostat for accurate temperature control
- Supplies
a fresh serpentine belt to ensure reliable accessory drive operation
- Comes
with all required gaskets to prevent leaks during installation
- Improves
cooling efficiency, reducing the risk of overheating
- Ensures long-term reliability with coordinated component replacement
- Perfect for workshop servicing, DIY maintenance or high-mileage cooling system refreshes.
Why Water Pumps, Thermostats & Belts Fail
Common failure points include:
- Bearing
wear inside the water pump, causing leaks or noise
- Impeller
degradation, reducing coolant flow
- Thermostat
sticking, leading to overheating or overcooling
- Serpentine
belt cracking, glazing or stretching
- Coolant
contamination, accelerating component wear
- Heat cycling, which weakens gaskets and housings
Cooling failures can cause warped cylinder heads, engine misfires or complete engine failure if not addressed promptly.
Why These Components Should Be Replaced Together
Replacing the pump, thermostat and serpentine belt as a set
ensures:
- Restored cooling performance across the entire system
- Correct belt tension and accessory drive function
- Reduced labour costs by avoiding repeat disassembly
- Balanced
longevity, as all components age similarly
- Prevention
of leaks, thanks to new gaskets and seals
- Peace of mind for daily driving, long trips or track use
This kit offers the most reliable and cost-effective approach to cooling system maintenance.

Supplied with the required gasket, this water pump provides a secure seal at the mounting surface to help prevent coolant leakage after installation. Its precision-engineered pump mechanism and impeller provide dependable coolant circulation, while durable bearings and seals are designed to withstand continuous rotational loads, temperature changes, and prolonged exposure to engine coolant. It is an ideal replacement during cooling system maintenance, engine repairs, or when an existing water pump shows signs of wear or failure.
What This Product Does:
- Circulates coolant through the engine and cooling system.
- Helps regulate and maintain the correct engine operating temperature.
- Transfers excess engine heat to the radiator for dissipation.
- Supports effective cooling during normal and demanding driving conditions.
- Helps prevent engine overheating.
- Includes a gasket for a secure, leak-resistant installation.
- Restores dependable coolant circulation when replacing a worn pump.
- Provides OE-quality fit and performance.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Engine overheating or running hotter than normal.
- Coolant leaking around the water pump.
- Frequent loss of coolant.
- Coolant warning messages or low coolant levels.
- Grinding, whining, or rumbling noises from the pump area.
- Excessive play or movement in the water pump bearing.
- Visible corrosion or deterioration around the pump.
- Poor coolant circulation.
- Steam or an unusually high engine temperature following coolant loss.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The water pump is one of the most important components within the engine cooling system. Without sufficient coolant circulation, heat generated by the engine cannot be transferred effectively to the radiator. A worn bearing, damaged impeller, leaking seal, or failed pump can therefore cause rapidly increasing engine temperatures and coolant loss.
- Continuing to drive with a failing water pump can result in severe overheating and potentially expensive engine damage, including cylinder head distortion, head gasket failure, and damage to other temperature-sensitive components. Coolant leakage can also leave the cooling system unable to maintain the correct pressure and fluid level.
- Replacing a worn or faulty pump with this Valeo Water Pump with Gasket restores dependable coolant circulation, helps maintain stable engine temperatures, reduces the risk of overheating, and supports long-term engine reliability. Supplied with a replacement gasket and manufactured to high-quality standards, it provides a dependable solution for Porsche cooling system maintenance and repair.
