Manufactured to OE specifications for fit, finish and durability, these protectors help safeguard the painted side sills from scuffs, scratches and everyday wear while restoring the original factory appearance of the vehicle's entry area.
Fits:
- Porsche 911 1965-1968 2.0L / 912 SWB (F)

Manufactured from high-quality automotive-grade material with a durable, wear-resistant finish, the side sill protectors are engineered to withstand repeated foot traffic, abrasion, moisture and changing temperatures. Precision-manufactured for direct OE-style installation, they fit securely using the original mounting locations, making them ideal for restoration projects or replacing worn, damaged or missing original threshold trims.
What This Product Does:
- Protects the door threshold and side sill from scuffs and scratches.
- Restores the original appearance of the vehicle's entry area.
- Covers and protects painted sill surfaces from everyday wear.
- Helps reduce damage caused by footwear and luggage.
- Provides factory-style fitment and finish.
- Enhances the appearance of the vehicle's interior.
- Replaces worn, damaged or missing sill protectors.
- Forms an essential part of the interior body trim system.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Scratched, dented or worn trim.
- Loose or poorly fitting sill protectors.
- Cracked or damaged threshold trim.
- Corrosion or deterioration where applicable.
- Missing retaining clips or fixings.
- Exposed paintwork vulnerable to damage.
- Increased wear to the door sill area.
- Cosmetic deterioration affecting the interior.
- Rattling or movement when entering or exiting the vehicle.
- Reduced originality during restoration.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The door threshold is one of the highest-wear areas of any vehicle, subjected to continual foot traffic, luggage movement and repeated entry and exit. Over time, the original sill protectors can become scratched, loose or damaged, reducing their ability to protect the underlying painted bodywork.
- A worn or missing sill protector leaves the door threshold vulnerable to scuffs, scratches and corrosion, particularly on classic Porsche models where preserving the original bodywork is essential. Damaged trim can also detract from the vehicle's appearance and originality, reducing its overall presentation and value.
- Replacing worn or damaged door threshold side sill protectors restores the factory finish while protecting the painted sill from further wear. The OE Match replacements provide precise OE-style fitment, premium-quality construction and long-lasting durability, making them an excellent choice for Porsche restoration, repair and preventative maintenance.
