- Porsche 911 1975-1977 3.0L Turbo (930)
This OE Match air intake rubber sleeve fits the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) 3.0L, 1975–77. It joins the throttle body with the air valve housing.
Fits
- Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0L 1975-77
Diagram ref no: 50
What This Product Does
The sleeve forms a flexible connection within the K-Jetronic intake assembly. Its sealing surfaces help keep the joint airtight, preventing unwanted air from entering through a deteriorated connection.
Functions
- Links the throttle body with the adjoining air valve housing.
- Seals the connection between these intake components.
- Provides a flexible rubber joint within the intake assembly.
Technical Details
- Part reference: 93011015200.
- Brand: OE Match.
- Material: rubber.
- Dimensions: 79,5x6x37 mm.
Symptoms of Fault
- Visible splits, surface cracks or brittle rubber.
- Softening, swelling or deformation around the joint.
- Hissing near the intake connection.
- Uneven idle, hesitation or stalling where an intake leak is present.
These signs are not conclusive on their own. Inspect the sleeve and adjacent connections before attributing a running fault to this component.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a damaged sleeve addresses leakage at this intake joint. A hardened or distorted sleeve may no longer seat correctly, even when its retaining hardware appears secure. Check the adjoining housings and clamps during replacement so that damage elsewhere does not leave the connection leaking.
FAQs
How can I check whether the sleeve leaks?
Look for cracks, distortion and loose connections. An intake smoke test can help locate leakage that is difficult to see.
Should the clamps be inspected too?
Yes. Check their condition and seating, and renew any damaged hardware using the correct specification.
Does rough idling prove this sleeve has failed?
No. Ignition, fuelling and other intake leaks can produce similar symptoms; establish the cause before replacing parts.
Check fitment for your specific vehicle (model, year, engine) before ordering.
