More ground clearance by the push of a button
With the HLS lift system you can lift your sports car or lowered vehicle to safely negotiate obstacles such as speedbumps, railroad crossings, road works, garages and underground car parks. Depending on the version of the HLS lift system your vehicle can be hydraulically lifted either at the front axle or on both axles by up to 45 mm.
KW Hydraulic Lift System
This prevents damage to your aerodynamic components, underbody protection or even oil sump. The lift system is available either as a vehicle-specific solution with or without a KW coilover kit, depending on the type of car and the model. If you cannot find your vehicle in our KW HLS product range, our engineers have also developed a universal lift system.

For a wide range of super cars and general everyday cars our HLS is available as an application-specific solution. Included in the delivery are such parts as the hydraulic lines or hydraulic pump adapted to your vehicle, all components will fit perfectly to your sports car. No matter if you want to combine the HLS with your series suspension kit or our KW coilovers which are one of the worlds top aftermarket products, the choice is yours. Alpina, BMW M, Manthey, Mercedes-Benz AMG, Novitec Rosso and many other well-known companies of the international automotive industry place their trust in KW coilover kits.
The lift kit "HLS 2" is only installed on the front axle. "HLS 4" allows you to lift the entire vehicle. A hydraulic cylinder is installed between spring plate and springs of each KW strut. The great advantage of the hydraulic system is that driving dynamics are not affected. The delivery content for all HLS lift kit versions include a control unit, which is connected to the vehicles on-board electronics. The vehicle will be automatically lowered at a certain speed to the original level of the KW coilover kit or your series suspension.

As part of our "Classic Range" we are now able to provide a complete set of compression and rebound adjustable shock absorbers for the Porsche 911 G-Series.
The suspension kit has a 3.5" space between the brake calliper mounting points which are for the S type callipers which evidently most G models have.
However some earlier cars have the M calliper which will NOT fit this suspension kit
The V3 damper kit's biggest draws is that it eliminates the need for costly and time consuming strut conversion to front and rear of the 70's/80's 911. Instead KW's adjustable damper package works with the front and rear torsion bars already in situ, allowing G-series owners to take control of their car's chassis setup. It also replicates one of this particular generation 911's key suspension traits, namely its threaded wheel carrying 'knuckles', and all in galvanised mild steel for a long and durable life.
KW Notes:
- Dampers are adjusted by easily operating adjustment wheels. Rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the vehicle construction.

KW Variant 3 damper kit for the Classic 911 Porsche is now also available with a 19mm lowering. The difference between the two products is the steering knuckle which is mounted 19 mm higher on the new damper kit. By changing the position of the steering knuckle, you not only achieve a fixed lowering of 19 mm, but also the measurement of the former Group 4 Homologation from Porsche.
Furthermore, with this technical modification it is still possible to drive on 15-inch wheels.

The classic Porsche 911 models have been characterized for decades by a timeless styling coupled with unadulterated sportiness. Everywhere in the world, the "911" is known as a sports car icon. From now on, in compression and rebound damping independently adjustable KW Variant 3 shock absorbers are available as a suspension complete set in galvanized steel housings for all Porsche 911 (from model year 1974) built from 1973 - 1989. For the first time, it is possible that a suspension kit for the Porsche 911 (G-model) with road approval can be adjusted in driving behavior individually to the own personal driving demand. With the integrated compression and rebound adjustment click adjusters, it is easy to individually adjust our recommended damper basic setup. For example, with its 16 click setting, the rebound allows to directly take influence on the handling characteristics as well as the driving comfort. With the low speed compression valve, which can be adjusted in twelve clicks, the driving behavior of the Porsche classic can be further increased if desired. For example, a higher compression level on the front axle allows an even more direct steering, and on the rear axle, higher compression damping forces counteract the oversteering. Due to the degressive valve assembly of the preconfigured high speed compression valve, the damping is positively influenced in the case of a sudden driving over street bumps. The wheels can immerse suddenly and this for example prevents the jumping over curbs. The Porsche 911 equipped with the adjustable KW shock absorbers receives a much more direct handling and gets significantly more grip on the rear axle without an increased oversteer. Even the remaining comfort is increased. The great advantage besides a quantum leap in terms of driving dynamics is that the "KW suspension kit" features spindle struts and dampers, so time-consuming strut conversions with replacement cartridges is not necessary. Also, the standard torsion bar springs on the front and rear axle can still be used.
It technically causes:
- when lowering, the roll center remains higher or is higher at the same driving height.
- the lower transverse control arm does not go upwards, seen from the vehicle
- as a result, the front wheel does not go, or go less, into the direction of a positive camber during compression.
- of course this also causes a lowering of 19 mm, at a constant position of the torsion bar.
