While air suspension offers a smooth ride and load-leveling capabilities, it isn’t without its drawbacks. As vehicles age, air suspension components will eventually need replacement. So, what should you choose: New or Remanufactured Replacement Parts, or Traditional Coil Springs?
If your vehicle is older or experiencing frequent air suspension issues, converting to a coil spring system (also called a delete kit) might be a better option. Arnott provides coil spring conversion kits designed to replace a vehicle’s air suspension. Built with high-quality U.S. steel, our coil springs ensure durability and a comfortable ride. Plus, installation is straightforward—no need for vehicle modifications like welding!
However, if your vehicle frequently carries or tows heavy loads, coil springs may not be the best choice. Coil conversion kits do not maintain the auto-leveling feature that air suspension systems offer. Auto-leveling adjusts ride height and is crucial for preventing issues like sagging, which can affect headlight aim and reduce handling performance.
