The Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing (REAR) is a high-quality suspension bushing designed to restore correct mounting and controlled movement of the rear lower control arm on compatible Porsche vehicles. This bushing sits between the control arm and the chassis/subframe, acting as a flexible joint that absorbs road vibration while allowing the suspension to articulate smoothly under braking, acceleration, and cornering loads.
Sold Each, x2 Required Per Car.
Fits:
Porsche 95B.1 Macan 2014 - 2018
Porsche 95B.2 Macan 2019 - 2021
Porsche 95B.3 Macan 2022 >>

Over time, suspension bushings can deteriorate due to age, heat, road contamination, and repeated flexing. A worn rear lower control arm bushing can lead to clunking noises, unstable handling, uneven tyre wear, and difficulty maintaining proper wheel alignment. Replacing the bushing helps return suspension geometry to factory condition, improving comfort, stability, and overall driving confidence.
What This Product Does:
- Acts as the pivot point between the rear lower control arm and subframe
- Absorbs vibration and road shock for a smoother ride
- Maintains correct suspension geometry and alignment
- Helps control wheel movement under load (acceleration, braking, cornering)
- Reduces noise, harshness, and vibration transmitted to the cabin
Symptoms Of Worn Or Failed Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing:
Noise & Vibration
- Clunking, creaking, or knocking over bumps
- Vibration through the floor or rear of the vehicle
Handling & Stability Issues
- Wandering or unstable rear end
- Poor cornering response
- Braking pull or imbalance
Wear & Alignment Problems
- Uneven or accelerated tyre wear
- Difficulty holding a wheel alignment
- Rear end “floaty” feel at speed
Visual/Physical Signs
- Cracks, splits, or visible degradation of the rubber material
- Play or movement at the bushing when pushed/pulled
Why Replacement Matters:
- Worn bushings allow uncontrolled movement in the suspension, which degrades stability, steering feel, and driver confidence—especially in corners or sudden manoeuvres.
- Proper bushings help maintain wheel alignment under load, reducing uneven tyre wear and extending tyre life.
- New bushings absorb shock and vibration more effectively, reducing harshness and noise transmitted to the cabin.
- Controlling unwanted movement helps prevent premature wear of control arms, ball joints, and other suspension parts.
