Rear roll bar seal Targa with plastic rivets and cover plugs
This OE Match rear roll bar seal kit is a complete sealing and installation set designed for Porsche 911 Targa models from 1970 to 1973. The kit includes the rear roll bar rubber seal together with the correct plastic rivets and cover plugs required for proper installation on the Targa roll bar. The seal sits along the front edge of the Targa roll bar, creating the sealing surface between the removable roof panel and the body structure.

Classic Porsche 911 Targa models use a removable roof panel that locks into the windshield frame at the front and seals against the Targa roll bar at the rear. The rear roll bar seal provides the rubber interface between the roof panel and the roll bar structure.
This OE Match seal is manufactured to replicate the original Porsche seal profile and compression characteristics. It ensures correct fitment and proper sealing performance during installation.
The included plastic rivets and cover plugs secure the seal to the roll bar and provide a clean factory-style finish once installed.

• Weather Sealing: Prevents water leaks around the Targa roof section
• Noise Reduction: Minimises wind noise at the roof-to-body junction
• Roof Fitment: Provides the sealing surface for the removable roof panel

Targa roof seals are exposed to UV light, weather and constant compression over many years. As the rubber ages it can harden, shrink or crack, allowing water leaks or wind noise to develop. Replacing the seal and hardware restores proper weather protection and ensures the roof panel fits securely against the roll bar.
Consider replacing the roll bar seal if you notice:
• Water leaks around the Targa roof
• Increased wind noise at highway speeds
• Hardened, cracked or shrunken rubber seal
• During Targa roof restoration or body refurbishment
